In 2027, Griffith will welcome their first cohort of students to the newest part of their Brisbane City campus, located in the Treasury Building. An expanded campus will mean that Griffith is the only higher education provider with a strong geographic footprint in the three biggest cities in South-East Queensland – Brisbane, Logan and Gold Coast.

As a Griffith alumni, I was asked to develop a unique reimagining of the iconic Treasury Building to promote its opening. The artwork should inspire future students thinking about university and shine a light on this new facility. The area of study I was asked to illustrate was Business - where I took inspiration from Griffith’s original vision for the building, as well as incorporating business elements such as tourism, political science, recycling, and trading.
