The Brief

Joel from The Bleachers had approached me to create a fun and quirky t-shirt design that they could wear on shoots. They were after a "foam finger" mascot that they could utilise to promote their "fans of brands" energy. This became the perfect pairing of imagery for the design. A few sketches were created to get an idea of what our pal would look like until we settled on one that worked the best. Actual bleachers were included in the background to add to the overall scene and helped fill up the space neatly. I wanted the overall character to have a vintage feel to it by using a nicely faded red and some unique textures and halftone style patterns. The design was created to work on both white and black t-shirts.
