The Brief

I was approached by Artforce and the Rotary Club of Balmoral to design and paint one of their available traffic boxes. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Balmoral, I took inspiration from their key areas of focus which include supporting education, growing local economies, and protecting the environment. I captured these values in a chaotic breakfast scene, which is also a nod to their breakfast program with Murrarie State School, located around the corner from the box. The box is located on the corner of Creek Rd & Lytton Rd in Murarrie.

I received the Best Organisation Artforce Brisbane Award for my traffic box design.
